Job summary

Planet Recruitment is seeking a proactive Van Driver in Banbury to deliver goods locally. You will interact with customers face to face and by phone, plan deliveries, and ensure items reach customers on time.

Daily duties include unloading, loading, and physical handling of items, with emphasis on safe vehicle checks and compliant driving. This role suits someone with sprinter van experience and a flexible attitude.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Knowledge of driving a sprinter sized van advantageous.
• Able to deal with customers face to face.
• Daily manual handling of heavy items required; good physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods across the local area.
• Speak to customers face to face and by phone to arrange delivery when close.
• Hours may vary depending on drops and routes.
• Unload, store, pick and load; heavy lifting of items.
• Ensure vehicles are safe; perform daily roadworthiness checks.
• Adhere to safe driving practices and vehicle condition guidelines.
