Job summary
Hall & Kay is seeking a Service Engineer to cover the Central Belt of Scotland, performing PPMs and small works across multiple buildings. You will service all types of sprinkler valve sets and conduct 5-point flow tests on fire pumps, ensuring ongoing reliability and safety.
The role requires experience with sprinkler systems, plumbing/piping knowledge, and a full UK driving licence. A Level 2 installation qualification is desirable, with a strong preference for candidates from
Qualifications
- Valve sets experience including Wet/Dry/Alternate/Deluge/Pre-Action essential.
- 5-point flow tests on sprinkler pumps and general service checks essential.
- Plumbing and piping knowledge on sprinkler systems essential.
- Must have a full UK driving licence to cover a regional role essential.
- Sprinkler Installation Level 2 qualification desirable.
- Experience in Commercial/Industrial buildings desirable.
- Experience in small works installation desirable.
- Experience with electronic reporting desirable.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for PPM and small works projects across a few buildings.
- Servicing all types of valve sets.
- Carrying out 5 point flow tests on fire pumps.
- Conducting general service checks.
