Job summary

Hall & Kay is looking for a Service Engineer to enter or return to the sprinkler industry. Ideally based in the Central Belt of Scotland, you will carry out PPMs and small works across multiple buildings.

You will service valve sets (wet, dry, alternate, deluge and pre-Action), perform 5-point flow tests on sprinkler pumps, and carry out general service checks. A full UK driving licence is essential for regional coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing valve sets: Wet, Dry, Alternate, Deluge and Pre-Action (essential).
• Experience performing 5-point flow tests on sprinkler pumps and general service checks (essential).
• Plumbing / Piping knowledge & fault finding on sprinkler systems (essential).
• Must have a full UK driving license able to cover a regional role (essential).
• Sprinkler Installation Level 2 qualified (desirable).
• Previous experience in Commercial / Industrial buildings environment (desirable).
• Experience in small works install (desirable).
• Experience and understanding of electronic reporting (desirable).

What you will be doing

What we will need from you

• Experience in servicing all types of the following valve sets: Wet, dry, alternate, deluge and pre-Action (essential)
• Experience of carrying out 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps and general service checks (essential)
• Experience of Plumbing / Piping Knowledge & fault finding on sprinkler systems (essential)
• Must have a full UK driving license able to cover a regional role (essential)
• Sprinkler Installation Level 2 qualified (desirable)
• Previous experience gained within Commercial / Industrial buildings environment (desirable)
• Experience in small works install (desirable)
• Experience and understanding of electronic reporting (desirable)
