Sprinkler Service & Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Location: Mobile – Birmingham & Surrounding Areas (occasional UK-wide travel required)
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Sprinkler Service & Maintenance Engineer to join a leading fire protection company. This is a mobile role covering contracts primarily across Birmingham and the West Midlands, with occasional travel across the UK. This position offers excellent earning potential through overtime, on-call allowances, and a clear path for career progression within a well-established and growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Routine servicing and maintenance of sprinkler systems in commercial and residential properties

- Fault-finding, testing, and completing minor repairs

- Ensuring all work complies with current fire safety legislation and health & safety standards

- Accurate and timely completion of job reports and compliance documentation

- Participation in a 1-in-4 on-call rota

- Travelling to client sites across the UK as required

Requirements:

- Proven experience in sprinkler system maintenance (essential)

- Recognised qualifications in sprinkler systems or fire protection (e.g. LPCB, FHC, or equivalent)

- Full, clean UK driving licence

- Strong understanding of health & safety and fire protection regulations

- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on site
