Job summary

Boden Group in Greater Manchester is recruiting a permanent Sprinkler Design Engineer to join an office-based team delivering new-build and fit-out projects across the North West.

You will design sprinkler systems, carry out hydraulic calculations to support accurate designs, and use Revit to develop sprinkler layouts, coordinating with the design and operations managers.

The role offers a salary of £55,000–£60,000 annually, a £5,000 car allowance, and Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Essential sprinkler design experience in a technical design role.
• Ability to complete hydraulic calculations.
• Around three to five years' relevant design engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of Revit for sprinkler system design.
• An intermediate LPCV qualification.

Responsibilities

• Design sprinkler systems for new-build and fit-out projects across the North West.
• Complete hydraulic calculations to support accurate technical designs.
• Use Revit to create and develop sprinkler system designs.
• Deliver design work for projects across the North West.
• Work with the operations manager, design manager and design engineers.
