Job Description:

The role

  • Design and produce high-quality fire protection sprinkler system designs compliant with relevant standards and project specifications.
  • Produce installation drawings and coordination models.
  • Calculate hydraulic requirements.
  • Conduct on-site surveys as needed.
  • Participate in coordination meetings.
  • Ensure designs meet standards and project requirements.
  • Mentor junior design team members.

Experience, competencies and knowledge required:

  • Strong experience in fire protection sprinkler system design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for technical drawings.
  • Experience with hydraulic calculations using CanuteFHC software.

Qualifications required:

  • Knowledge of LPC Sprinkler rules.
  • Minimum of LCPB Basic Design Qualification (training available if needed).
  • LPCB Intermediate and FHC Design Qualifications are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of FM and NFPA standards is advantageous.
