Your role: As the Medical Director for our newly acquired company, SpringWorks, you will play a pivotal role in driving operations and strategic growth within your designated country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Commercial leadership as the primary medical expert, providing scientific guidance in cross-functional initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with 20-30 key stakeholders including clinical experts and patient organizations
  • Drive local data generation through investigator-initiated studies and real-world evidence programs within allocated budget
  • Define and execute medical strategies aligned with global direction, including digital scientific engagement approaches
  • Lead a team of 5-8 medical professionals, developing talent through mentoring and career planning
  • Implement performance metrics for medical activities while ensuring scientific rigor and operational excellence
  • Monitor scientific advances and competitive developments to inform strategic planning and medical initiatives
  • Oversee development of scientific communications and publication planning for local market needs
  • Lead medical training for internal teams while building scientific capabilities across the organization
  • Ensure regional compliance with codes of conduct and regulations while maintaining scientific credibility and integrity

Experience/Skills:

  • Experience in Medical Affairs or related relevant field, with significant experience in rare Oncology or closely related rare diseases, with experience in drug launch preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of local regulations, legal frameworks, and the relevant stakeholder landscape required, with references of existing stakeholder relationships preferred
  • Proven analytical skills, with the ability to critically evaluate and synthesize complex data and information for decision-making
  • Demonstrated success in developing & executing strategic plans at local level, aligned with broader global/regional objectives and strategies
  • Extensive experience across planning, conducting, evaluating and publishing clinical studies, and knowledge of country-specific medical dossier writing
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership abilities, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration
  • MD, PhD in Life Sciences required
  • Fluency in English and local language
