Permanent Position

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Closing date: Monday 9th June – 12 Noon

Springfield Primary Academy is seeking a self-motivated, caring, and enthusiastic individual to work across the primary age range, primarily in Key Stage 2. The role involves providing support for individuals and small groups, and supervising classes when necessary.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Working under the guidance of teaching staff to implement work programs with individuals and groups, both inside and outside the classroom. This may involve detailed knowledge in specific areas, assisting in planning, and resource management.
  2. Delivering PPA sessions as scheduled.
  3. Supervising whole classes occasionally during teachers' short-term absences, focusing on maintaining order and keeping pupils on task.
  4. Responding to questions and assisting pupils with set activities as a Cover Supervisor.
