Job summary

Toppesfield Limited is looking for a reliable HGV Sprayer Driver to join our on-site delivery team. The role involves applying tac coat emulsion using an HGV sprayer and supporting day and night shift operations.

The successful candidate will hold a Drivers CPC and a Class 2/C licence, with tanker experience preferred. You will operate heavy equipment safely, perform daily checks, and contribute to on-site construction duties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires Drivers CPC and Class 2/C licence. Tanker experience preferred.
• Hands-on ability to operate HGV sprayer and handle tac coat emulsion safely.
• Commitment to on-site safety, daily checks and reliable teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Apply tac coat emulsion using HGV Sprayer.
• Monitor temperature and heat oil within recommended ranges.
• Operate HGV and other equipment safely.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Report mechanical or safety issues to the appropriate department.
• Carry out other heavy equipment and construction duties as required.
• Work safely to protect yourself and others on site.

Role Description

We have an opportunity for a reliable and self-motivated HGV Sprayer Driver who will be working as part of our on-site delivery team. The role will be for both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• The application of tac coat emulsion using HGV Sprayer.
• Constantly monitor temperature, heat oil within confines of recommended temperature
• Operate the HGV and other equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
• Perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues to the relevant department
• Operate other heavy equipment and other construction related duties as required
• Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the well-being of others

Ideal Candidate will have

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Drivers CPC
• Driving Licence (Class 2 / C)
• Tanker experience preferred
