Join a progressive, environmentally responsible farming business in the heart of North Norfolk. Wemanage over 2,400 hectares of combinable crops and 500 hectares of sugar beet and potatoes, utilising the latest agricultural technologies and sustainable practices.
We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Sprayer / Combine Operator to become a valued member of our small, friendly, and professional team. If you're passionate about farming, take pride in your work, and can work both independently and collaboratively, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
•Responsible for the accurate application of plant protection products.
•Regular servicing and maintenance of the sprayer.
•Manage chemical stock levels across various storage facilities.
•Keep comprehensive and accurate spray records.
•Operate and maintain a Claas combine during harvest.
•Support with a variety of additional farm operations including trailer work, cultivations, drilling, and workshop maintenance.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
•Have relevant experience in a similar role within arable farming.
•Work well both independently and as part of a team.
•Be thorough and take pride in producing high-quality work.
•Communicate effectively with team members and managers.
•Perform well under pressure and in peak seasonal periods.
•Have a sound understanding of GPS and RTK systems.
•Hold PA1 & PA2, NRoSO membership, and ideally PA4 G/S.
•Possess a telehandler certificate.
