Job description

Are you a skilled Painter with experience in industrial coatings and surface preparation? We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our client’s refurbishment team in Aberdeen. This is a great opportunity to work within a dynamic environment focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Performing spray painting to a high standard across a range of industrial equipment and structures.
  • Executing all aspects of coatings projects with a strong focus on safety and operational efficiency.
  • Understanding and applying different coating systems and the required microns for specific jobs.
  • Operating, cleaning, and maintaining painting equipment including brushes, rollers, sprayers, mixing tools, pumps, PPE, and automated paint robots.
  • Conducting inspections and ensure documentation is completed in line with established procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work site at all times.

Applicants to this role require

  • Previous experience in blasting and painting in an industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of surface preparation, masking, and protection techniques.
  • Familiarity with high-performance coating applications.
  • Basic understanding of coating specification documents.
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Forklift Licence B2 (desirable but not essential).
