Due to securing a contract with one of the countries leading transport providers, we have a number of highly skilled roles we are looking to fill.

We are looking to recruit experienced Spray Painters to work at our Glasgow depot, these will be Full time roles, and as well as continuous work, we can offer an immediate start.

Job Duties;

  • Preparing carriages for paintwork
  • Masking in preparation for paintwork
  • Carrying out minor damage repairs
  • Polishing to remove defects from paintwork
  • Mixing paint to apply to carriages
  • Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard
  • Working in a spray booth to ensure paint is confined to the specific areas
  • Inspect surfaces for contamination, damage, or imperfections
  • Clean and degrease surfaces to be painted.
  • Scrape and sand surfaces to remove imperfections.
  • Fill cracks, dents, or other imperfections with appropriate filling material.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Candidates must be time served with previous experience of working as a spray painter/prepper in a professional workshop with knowledge of different surface preparation techniques.
