Baltic Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with The Danesmoor Group a company based in Newton Aycliffe. We are supporting them in their recruitment for a Spray Painter (Paint Finishing) to join their busy team.

Our mix of fully automated and hand-sprayed paint-to-order (PTO) service offers an extensive colour palette and a superior quality and finish for all paint-to-order products across our comprehensive kitchen component portfolio.

Overview

The successful candidate will work within our fast-paced paint finishing production facility, processing bespoke variations of products & colours required for customer orders. The successful candidate will assist with the spray painting of bespoke customer orders, ensuring prepping and quality checks are completed to an extremely high standard and is able to produce a high-quality finish required to delight customers.

Spray Painter Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Working towards strict targets and quality standards
  • Painting bespoke customer orders, ensuring the maximum quality and finish of work is achieved
  • Regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and on time

Spray Painter Applicants

  • Must have previous Spray-Painting experience
  • Have excellent communication skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have an excellent work ethic
  • Be able to identify different colours and primers

Hourly rate is £15.10 and is inclusive of a 15% shift allowance.

Working Monday to Friday on a 2-shift pattern (6am-2pm - Mon-Fri & 2pm-10.30pm - Mon-Thurs & 2pm-8pm - Fri), with the opportunity for overtime when required.

You will be required to work a day shift of 7.30am until 3.30pm during your training period, with a basic hourly rate of £13.13. Before transferring over to 2-shifts.
