Job description

Connect Appointments have permanent opportunities available for Spray Painters in Kilmarnock.

Salary: £41,730 per annum

Schedule: 2-week rotation between day shift and night shift (40 hours per week)

As a Spray Painter, your responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing vehicle bodies for the application of paint coating to different types of vehicle bodies and rolling stock.
2. Using and selecting appropriate tools, equipment, and materials as required for work tasks.
3. Using your core technical skills and experience to complete tasks on time and safely.
4. Communicating any discrepancies or changes to your supervisor and engineering teams.
5. Ensuring your work area is maintained in a safe and tidy manner.

The ideal Spray Painter will be:

1. Time-served with relevant qualifications.
2. A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
3. Experienced in spray painting and the safe use of hazardous materials.
4. Motivated, and able to work in a deadline driven, busy environment.
