Job summary

Eastern Western Motor Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Spray Paint Preparation Technician to join the automotive finishing team. You will be involved in body preparation and spray painting tasks, working with experienced colleagues to ensure quality finishes.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with senior team members and participate in on-site and off-site training.
• Perform body spraying and preparation tasks competently and within required time frames.
• Monitor output quality and inform management of additional work as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety policies, maintain a hazard-free environment, and use RPE/PPE for tasks.
• Keep the paint mixing room and work areas clean and orderly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior team members to develop skills and knowledge in spray painting.
• Carry out body preparation and priming tasks to ensure top finish quality.
• Operate spray equipment safely and efficiently within production schedules.
• Report quality issues or extra work requirements to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the paint area.
