Job summary

NHS Trust in London is seeking an experienced SpR Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join a busy team on a locum basis, available to commence immediately.

The role covers obstetric and gynaecology services across labour wards, clinics and emergency care within NHS standards, with strong support for junior doctors and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• MRCOG qualification and GMC licence to practise.
• CEL (Clinical Experience Letter) mandatory.
• NHS Registrar/SpR level experience.
• Strong obstetric and gynaecology clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynaecology care within NHS standards.
• Cover labour ward, antenatal clinics, and gynaecology wards.
• Manage obstetric and gynaecological emergencies.
• Participate in ward rounds, handovers and MDT meetings.
• Maintain accurate patient records and support juniors.

We are currently seeking an experienced SpR Obstetrics & Gynaecology doctor to join a busy NHS Trust in the London region on a locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated clinician who can contribute effectively to both obstetric and gynaecology services and is available to commence work immediately.

Essential Requirements

• Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise.
• MRCOG qualification is mandatory.
• Current Clinical Experience Letter (CEL) is mandatory.
• Previous NHS experience at Registrar/SpR level in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Strong experience in managing labour wards, obstetric emergencies, antenatal and postnatal care.
• Competent in general gynaecology assessments and emergency presentations.
• Excellent communication and team-working skills.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK.
