Job summary

Triple West Medical Ltd. is recruiting a Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology for a substantive or 12‑month NHS fixed‑term appointment. Join a large O&G team in a pioneering hospital with a strong CQC rating and a culture of learning and improvement.

You will collaborate with 10+ consultants in a busy department handling 5000 deliveries, teaching, audits, and quality improvement, with opportunities for involvement in various clinics and theatre work.

Qualifications

• Must have GMC Registration.
• Experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrics and gynaecology care in a busy department.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely patient care.
• Participate in teaching, audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Cover gynaecology clinics, theatre cases and antenatal clinics in inpatient wards.

We've been assigned by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK help them recruit a Specialty Doctor Obs & Gynae on either a Substantive or a 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis.

The appointee will be joining a friendly, well organised O&G Department where you'll be working in a Obstetrics and Gynaecology department with over 5000 deliveries. Working In a team with 10+ Consultants, the appointee will have responsibilities that range from: working and liaising with the colleagues across the multidisciplinary team to ensure an appropriate, professional and timely provision of care to patients, opportunities to work with a Consultant will be provided to ensure on-going requirements for professional development and education, participation in teaching for career development, opportunities for involvement in audit and quality improvement, covering the gynaecology assessment unit and inpatient ward, gynaecology emergencies; participate in theatre cases and the maternity assessment unit alongside Tier Two junior doctors & undertaking general and specialty gynaecology clinics and also antenatal clinics
