Are you physically active, confident, and driven to make a difference in the lives of young people? Whether your background is in coaching, fitness, youth mentoring, or leadership, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to bring your strengths into the classroom and beyond.

We are a well-established, supportive education agency working with primary and secondary schools across Cardiff. We are currently looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals who can bring structure, energy, and resilience to their role as a Supply Teaching Assistant. You'll support pupils' learning both in and out of the classroom—helping to guide them academically, socially, and emotionally.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys leading by example, and has the confidence to step into new school settings and make a positive impact. No teaching qualification is required—if you've worked with young people in any capacity and have a natural presence and passion for development, we want to hear from you.

  • Provide day-to-day classroom and one-on-one support to pupils
  • Assist in delivering structured learning activities, with a focus on physical engagement and positive behaviour
  • Lead or support sports sessions, games, break-time supervision, and physical education lessons
  • Act as a positive role model, encouraging teamwork, focus, and resilience
  • Support pupils' emotional wellbeing, confidence, and classroom engagement
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and school teams to ensure consistent support for all students

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people—this can include coaching, mentoring, sports clubs, youth work, tutoring, or volunteering
  • A calm, assertive, and proactive approach to behaviour management
  • High energy, reliability, and a genuine commitment to helping young people succeed
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • A flexible mindset—ability to adapt to different environments and expectations
  • Willingness to undertake safeguarding and compliance checks

Benefits:

  • £89.35 per day, paid weekly via PAYE—no umbrella company deductions
  • Flexible, consistent supply work that fits around your commitments
