Job summary

FDJ UNITED is building a modern Sportsbook data platform on AWS to power analytics, trading insight, and machine learning. You’ll develop batch and streaming pipelines, transform betting data into curated datasets, and ensure data quality across bronze/ silver/ gold layers.

The role combines data engineering with governance and collaboration with analytics and ML teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills and data modelling fundamentals.
• Experience with data transformation tools and orchestration.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based data platforms.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT patterns and data governance basics.
• Exposure to streaming tech like Kafka or Flink is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Transform sportsbook data into structured datasets for analytics.
• Develop data assets aligned to medallion-like architecture.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and reliability of pipelines.
• Collaborate with analytics, data science, and ML teams.
• Monitor performance, cost, and governance of data platforms.
• Contribute to data contracts, schemas, and metadata tooling.
