Job summary

The University of Nottingham is seeking a Sports Volunteer Officer within the Participation department to lead and implement the Volunteer and Leadership Academy strands in line with the Vision for Sport. You will strengthen, coordinate, and grow our volunteer community, ensuring volunteers are engaged and empowered to deliver impact.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver a programme that enhances student employability, academic attainment and life

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the Volunteer and Leadership Academy strands in line with the University strategy and Vision for Sport.
• Strengthen, coordinate, and grow the organisation’s volunteer community, ensuring volunteers are engaged, supported and empowered to deliver meaningful impact.
• Support development and delivery of student leadership and personal development through sport and volunteering.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance student employment, academic attainment and life skills.
