An educational institution in Cambridge is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join its Sports Services Team. The role involves developing strategies to boost student participation in sports. Ideal candidates are recent graduates or college leavers, with experience in sports or coaching. This term-time position requires good health and fitness, with work hours focused on normal support staff timings, plus potential evenings and weekends.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic person to join our fantastic Sports Services Team.
Ideally, you will have some experience of working within a sports or coaching environment and will have some knowledge of sports funding initiatives, as a large element of this role will be to embed and further develop strategies which will increase the number of students who regularly participate in sport. A good standard of general fitness and good health is required due to the nature of this role.
This is an ideal opportunity for a recent university or FE college leaver who is keen to gain experience of working within a student-facing role in an educational establishment.
This is a term-time only role, working 37 hours per week, and working hours will be during normal support staff hours, which are 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday and 8:30am - 4:00pm on Friday; however, there may be a potential requirement to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis, as required.
