Protocol Education is working with a range of well-regarded secondary schools across Chester-le-Street, Gateshead, South Tyneside and Sunderland, seeking confident and enthusiastic individuals to work as Cover Supervisors on a flexible, day-to-day basis.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising lessons during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with the work that has been set. You could be covering classes of up to 32 pupils across a variety of subjects throughout the school day.
A significant number of schools are currently experiencing a shortage of staff willing to deliver practical PE lessons, meaning candidates with sporting experience, coaching backgrounds or PE-related qualifications are particularly sought after. Those confident delivering PE lessons are likely to be given priority when PE cover becomes available.
While not essential, driving is highly beneficial due to the variety of schools and locations available across the region.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
