Sports Graduate
Location: Alsager, Cheshire
Pay: £88.92 - £100.53 per day (dependent on payroll choice)
Start Date: April and September 2025 available

About the Role:

Simply Education is partnering with a specialist school in Alsager, rated 'Good' by Ofsted. The school provides high-quality education for autistic students aged 4 to 19 in a supportive environment. With small class sizes (around 7 students) and a total of 80 students on roll, the school offers individual attention and tailored support.

As a Sports Graduate, you will work directly with students, supporting them in physical education, sports, and other extracurricular activities. You will help students develop confidence, physical skills, and teamwork abilities, all while encouraging personal growth and positive well-being. Whether you have experience or are eager to learn, this role offers significant personal and professional growth in a rewarding and dynamic setting.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Supporting students in PE and sports activities, helping them develop physical and motor skills.
  2. Assisting with emotional regulation and communication strategies during activities (PECS, Makaton, sensory integration).
  3. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging teamwork, communication, and participation.
  4. Working closely with teachers and other staff to support students' academic and social needs through sports.
  5. Helping students build confidence, teamwork, and independence during physical activities and daily tasks.

What We're Looking For:

  1. A caring, patient individual passionate about supporting young people through sports and physical education.
  2. A Sports Graduate or someone with a keen interest in sports, with a willingness to learn and grow in a special needs education setting.
  3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  4. Experience in sports coaching or education is helpful but not essential.
  5. A desire to make a difference and support students in achieving their full potential.
