Job summary

Study Group in Leeds is recruiting an academic professional to lead module development and deliver high-quality teaching for an international Year one programme in Sport and Health Science. You will shape the curriculum and contribute to assessments while working closely with colleagues across the Centre.

Responsibilities include designing modules, delivering and marking, updating the VLE, supporting induction, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area.
• Masters’ qualification desirable.
• PhD welcomed.
• Experience of teaching in UK higher or further education.
• Experience of module development desirable.
• Experience of working with international students desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modules offered by the centre.
• Contribute to the delivery and assessment of provision.
• Prepare module examinations and provide feedback to students.
• Update and maintain the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
• Work with the Student Experience Team and Registry and Operations Team in induction, orientation and registration programmes.
• Liaise with the Progression, Welfare and Support team to support students in achieving progression aims.
• Engage in scholarly activity to ensure delivery of modules is current.
