Job summary

Study Group, in collaboration with the University of Leeds and Leeds Beckett University, seeks a tutor at Leeds International Study Centre to coordinate modules, design learning materials and deliver teaching across designated programmes.

The role includes academic management, student support, assessment, and contributing to innovative teaching practices to enhance the student experience until 31 January 2028.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area.
• A Masters qualification is desirable.
• Candidates holding a PhD will be particularly welcomed.
• Experience of teaching in UK higher or further education.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic coordination for designated module(s) as module coordinator.
• Participate in regular meetings with teaching and support staff.
• Contribute to the design, delivery and development of modules.
• Assist in delivery and assessment of provision and feedback to students.
• Update and maintain the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
• Collaborate with Student Experience and Registry on induction and registration.
• Support students in progression and welfare efforts.
• Engage in scholarly activity to keep modules current.
• Undertake teaching, learning and assessment observations as needed.
• Perform other duties as required by the Head of Business and Centre Director.
