Job summary

Bupa Cardiff is seeking an experienced Sports and Exercise Medicine/MSK Physician to deliver high‑quality clinical consultations and procedures at the Cardiff Health Clinic (CF3 0LW). The role is on-site, part-time, and self‑employed with a fee‑split arrangement within an MSK MDT.

GMC registration and a Sport and Exercise Medicine CCT or equivalent are required, with postgraduate MSc/Diploma in MSK. The successful candidate will have private patient experience, excellent communication, and a

Qualifications

• GMC registration and license to practice – listed on the Sport and Exercise Consultant register
• CCT or equivalent experience (Article 14) in Sport and Exercise Medicine
• CCT in Sport & Exercise Medicine Post-graduate Diploma or MSc in MSK Medical or SEM from a recognised awarding body
• Excellent customer skills and a passion to deliver high levels of effective evidence-based care
• Significant experience of working within an MSK/SEM MDT
• Ideally experience treating private patients
• Experience with sports injuries
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal skills, organisation and time management
• Interest in continuing development – professional and business

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical consultations and procedures for SEM/MSK conditions
• Work within a multidisciplinary MSK team of clinicians
• Provide high level, evidence-based care and patient communication
• Collaborate with private patients as appropriate

Job Description: Sports and Exercise Medicine Consultant/ MSK Physician Opportunity to work onsite at Bupa Cardiff, CF3 0LW Full / Part Time Hours Available Self-employed / Fee split

The purpose of this role is to deliver clinical consultations and procedures to a high level of care to customers with SEM/MSK conditions at a Bupa Health Clinic, based at Cardiff. You will be working within a multidisciplinary MSK team of highly experienced clinicians.

What are we looking for?

• An experienced, confident Sports and Exercise Medicine/MSK Physician who has: GMC registration & license to practice – listed on the Sport and Exercise Consultant register
• CCT or equivalent experience (Article 14) in Sport and Exercise Medicine
• CCT in Sport & Exercise Medicine Post-graduate Diploma or MSc in MSK Medical or SEM from a recognised awarding body
• Excellent customer skills and a passion to deliver high levels of effective evidence-based care
