Job summary

Bupa Exeter is seeking a Sports and Exercise Medicine Consultant / MSK Physician to deliver clinical consultations and procedures at our Exeter Health Clinic.

Part-time or full-time hours available; self-employed with a fee split. You will be part of an MSK MDT with opportunities for CPD and referral development.

Qualifications

• GMC registration & license to practice – listed on the Sport and Exercise Consultant register
• CCT or equivalent experience (Article 14) in Sport and Exercise Medicine
• CCT in Sport & Exercise Medicine
• Post-graduate Diploma or MSc in MSK Medical or SEM from a recognised awarding body
• Excellent customer skills and a passion to deliver high levels of effective evidence-based care
• Significant experience of working within an MSK/SEM MDT
• Ideally experience treating private patients
• Experience with sports injuries
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal skills, organisation and time management
• Interest in continuing development - professional and business

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical consultations and procedures to a high level of care for SEM/MSK conditions at a Bupa Health Clinic in Exeter
• Work within a multidisciplinary MSK team of experienced clinicians
• Contribute to development of care lines and CPD activities
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care and patient-focused service

The purpose of this role is to deliver clinical consultations and procedures to a high level of care to customers with SEM/MSK conditions at a Bupa Health Clinic, based at Exeter. You will be working within a multidisciplinary MSK team of highly experienced clinicians.

What are we looking for?
