Job summary

FairPlay Sports Media is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Analytics team. You will translate complex data into actionable strategies, partnering with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to build predictive frameworks and identify growth opportunities.

You will design rigorous experiments, develop predictive models for churn and CLV, and uncover insights from large datasets to guide business decisions.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL across large cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Proficiency in Python for statistical modeling, forecasting, and ML.
• Deep understanding of statistical inference, regression, probability, hypothesis testing.
• Experience building dashboards and data visualizations in BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Experimentation & A/B Testing: design, execute, and analyze rigorous tests to measure feature performance and business impact.
• Predictive Analytics & Machine Learning: build, validate, and maintain scalable models (e.g., churn, CLV) to guide decisions.
• Exploratory Data Analysis: dive into large datasets to identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Define and measure key features for modelling and data platforms.
• Partner with product, engineering, and marketing to turn questions into quantitative analyses.
• Design and manage AI agents to automate analytics tasks and insights generation.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering on data pipelines and governance.
