Job description

Protocol Education are on the lookout for energetic, confident, and sport-savvy support staff to join our team.

You’ll use your coaching skills to engage pupils in and out of lessons, help manage behaviour, and bring energy and structure to school days. It’s the perfect step if you’re thinking about teaching, youth work, or education support. You'll be working in schools across North Bristol, spanning areas such as Horfield, Southmead, Patchway, Henleaze and more.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils in PE lessons and across the curriculum

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and teamwork

  • Working with individuals or small groups who need extra motivation

  • Supporting teachers with activities and classroom routines

  • Bringing that coach energy: focus, encouragement, and a bit of fun!

About you:

  • You’ve worked with young people (in school, coaching, or youth work)

  • You’ve got great communication skills and a calm approach

  • You’re confident leading groups and building positive relationships

  • You’ve got bags of energy, and maybe a whistle or two

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
