Job description

Sports Coach with specialism in Rugby, Football and Cricket

We are seeking to appoint dynamic, self-motivated, highly organized, and experienced coaches to work within our successful Sports Programmes and busy and thriving Games Department

Required for September 2025

10-14 hours per week including Saturdays, Term Time

It is essential that applicants are able to deliver Rugby, Football and Cricket and hold a minimum Level 1 and working towards Level 2 or equivalent coaching qualification.

Interviews will take place as and when we receive applications. Early applications are encouraged, and we reserve the right to withdraw the position if an early appointment is made.

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

The safeguarding responsibilities of the post include:

  • child protection, discipline, health and safety
  • promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
