We’re looking for individuals like you – with strong coaching or youth work backgrounds – to join us as SEN Teaching Assistants.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work with students aged 11-16 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
  • Support learning in and out of the classroom, 1:1 and in small groups
  • Help students manage behaviour, regulate emotions, and develop key life skills
  • Be part of a close-knit, committed team working to give every child a second chance

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS:
Location – Bury
Position – Teaching Assistant
Start date – ASAP
Contract type – Temporary
Full time
Minimum rate of pay – GBP90-120 P/D
Hours – 0830 – 1530

Experience, Training and qualifications:

Secondary School experience or evidence of working with children.

GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 & above.

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided).

Up to date Prevent training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided).

Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however training can be provided).

To be eligible you must have/be:

Hold Right to Work in the UK.

Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.

Provide a minimum of two references covering the last 2 years.
