Job Opportunity: Lead Sports Coach at Primary School in Portsmouth

Prospero Teaching is excited to announce an opening for an enthusiastic Lead Sports Coach at our client mainstream Primary School in Portsmouth. This role is ideal for a qualified Sports Coach passionate about working with young children and possessing leadership qualities in Sports Coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Physical Education lessons across the school with the support of Teaching Assistants.
• Promote physical fitness and healthy lifestyles among pupils.
• Encourage students to participate in various sports and physical activities.
• Develop pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioral skills through sports.

Candidate Requirements:

• Relevant sports experience and qualifications, including sports coaching badges and sports degrees.
• Drive and determination for pupil development, maintaining high expectations of achievement.
• Empathy and a caring nature when handling sensitive scenarios.
• Effective communication skills with staff, pupils, and parents.
• Adaptability and proactiveness under pressure.
• Confidence in developing pupils socially, emotionally, and behaviorally.
