Job summary

Reading Blue Coat School in Berkshire is seeking Sports Coaches to support the Sport & Physical Education department. You will coach pupils aged 11–16, manage age-group teams and help deliver sessions for spring and summer terms.

This is a seasonal part-time role during school terms, 8–10 hours per week, with after-school activities and competitions. Required are entry-level coaching qualifications, a strong background in playing or officiating sport, and a valid clean driving licence.

Job Description

We are looking for Sports Coaches to support the Sport & Physical Education department in delivering coaching to pupils throughout the School and to manage one or more age group teams. We require netball and football coaches for the spring term and cricket and athletics coaches for the summer term.

This is a seasonal part time, term time role working 8-10 hours per week during specified sessions, both during the school day and for after school activities, games and competitions.

About You

The ideal candidate will have minimum entry level coaching qualification in their chosen sport; strong background in playing or officiating sport; experience of leading the delivery of specific sport to children aged 11-16 years. A full clean driving licence is essential and the ability and license to drive a minibus is desirable (but not essential).
