Overview

Sport Coach – Location: Yeovil, Somerset • Position Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday) 8:30 – 3:30 • Pay: £90 – £95 per day

Responsibilities

• Support young people with SEND in lessons and learning activities.
• Use sports and physical activities to engage students and develop social, emotional, and personal skills.
• Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom management and personal care needs.
• Help plan and deliver school activities, sports days, and events.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support individual learning goals.
• Drivers needed: support travel between school sites or off-site activities as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience working with young people, ideally with SEND.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and child welfare.
• Ability to adapt coaching and support methods for learners with a range of needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Full driving licence preferred.
