Sports Coach Learning Support Assistant – Wickford – £90 to £130/day – September Start
Are you passionate about sports and committed to helping young people achieve their best both on and off the pitch? We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Sports Coach Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Wickford from September.
In this exciting role, you’ll combine your love for physical activity with your dedication to supporting students’ learning and well-being. You’ll work closely with learners, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them engage in lessons, build confidence, and develop key skills through sport and physical education.
The Role:
Support students in PE and sports sessions, encouraging participation and teamwork.
Provide 1:1 and small group learning support across different subjects when not in sports activities.
Assist in planning and delivering engaging, inclusive sports lessons.
Promote positive behaviour, resilience, and healthy lifestyles.
Work with teaching staff to adapt activities for students with additional needs.
About You:
Experience in sports coaching, PE support, or working with young people is highly desirable.
A positive role model with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Able to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passionate about inclusive education and student development.
