The role:

A secondary school in Southampton is seeking a passionate Sports Coach to join their team from September 2025. This role is offered on a temporary basis until January 2026, with the potential for extension. The position involves supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students across a range of PE activities and sports. What We re Looking For:

• A background in Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or a related field (degree preferred but not essential)
• Experience working with young people, ideally in a secondary school setting
• Knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 PE curriculum and various sports disciplines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students with varying interests and abilities
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures and safe practice in sports environments
• A proactive, enthusiastic approach to promoting fitness and well-being
