Job Title: Sports Coach

Job Type: Full time, 12:30pm-4:30pm

Location: Croydon

Salary: 15-18 per hour Depending on experience

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sports Coach to join a fantastic Primary School in Croydon. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and teaching sports lessons, promoting inclusivity and diversity in sports, and creating a supportive and exciting environment for children across Primary School level.

Sports Coaching Responsibilities

1. Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive sports lessons for participants of all Primary ages and abilities.
2. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes diversity and equality in sports.
3. Provide individualised support and feedback to participants to help them improve their skills and confidence.
4. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create a supportive and cohesive team environment.
5. Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play among all participants.

Qualifications

1. Previous experience in planning and teaching sports lessons as a sports coach.
2. Strong knowledge of the Education industry.
3. Strong understanding of the principles of diversity, equality, and inclusion in sports.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to adapt coaching methods to meet the diverse needs of participants.
6. Relevant coaching certifications and qualifications a plus.

Sports Coaching Day-to-day

1. Planning and delivering sports lessons.
