The School and Role

Vision for Education is currently recruiting a Sports Coach to work in a specialist education and care service based in Chippenham. The service caters to young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, including complex needs such as attachment disorders, trauma, anxiety, high-functioning autism spectrum disorder (ASD), pathological demand avoidance (PDA), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The role involves transferring into a classroom setting as a SEND Teaching Assistant.

Requirements

The ideal Sports Coach will have:

  • Experience working with primary and secondary school-aged children
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH, complex needs, trauma, and high-functioning autism
  • A passion for pupil progress
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
