Job summary

South Gloucestershire and Stroud College offers a Level 4 Sports Coaching apprenticeship based in Bristol. As an Apprentice PE & Sports Coach, you will work alongside experienced coaches to support physical education lessons and lead activity sessions. Job description

This Level 4 Sports Coaching apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while learning how to deliver high‑quality physical education and sports activities in a school and community setting.

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands‑on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

As an Apprentice PE & Sports Coach, you will work alongside experienced coaches to support PE lessons, lead activity sessions, and assist with extracurricular and weekend sports programmes.

You will help to create a positive, energetic, and inclusive environment where children of all ages and abilities can enjoy being active while developing confidence and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Encourage participation, teamwork, and enjoyment in all sessions.
