This Level 4 Sports Coaching apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while learning how to deliver high‑quality physical education and sports activities in a school and community setting.

Various hours to be agreed, which will include some weekends and will involve working during half terms to cover holiday clubs.

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands‑on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
As an Apprentice PE & Sports Coach, you will work alongside experienced coaches to support PE lessons, lead activity sessions, and assist with extracurricular and weekend sports programmes.
You will help to create a positive, energetic, and inclusive environment where children of all ages and abilities can enjoy being active while developing confidence and skills.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
South Gloucestershire and Stroud College
Experience of coaching children.
Passing a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Willingness to travel between schools during your working day.
You will be required to work school holidays.
