U-Educate are currently recruiting for a Sports Coach for schools in Portsmouth. We are seeking people with experience of working in a school setting and with children aged from 6-18.
- Implementing the school sport programme effectively
- Promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles
- Teaching students about safety in such areas as swimming pools, athletics fields, gymnasiums
- Making sure all pupils you work with are included and involved
- Interest and enthusiasm for many sports
- Good spoken communication skills
- The ability to inspire confidence and motivate performance
- The ability to analyse problems
- Perseverance and patience
- Good organisational skills
- A sensitive and supportive approach
- Excellent team working abilities
The role will involve preparation of coaching sessions, management of class behaviour, and motivating and encouraging all pupils to take part, as well as planning and marking for each lesson.
