The school values physical education (PE) and sports as essential for holistic development. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Sports Coach to join their team.

The successful candidate will support the PE program and assist in delivering high-quality PE lessons. They will work closely with PE teachers to inspire and motivate students to participate in physical activities and develop their skills across various sports.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in planning and delivering engaging, inclusive PE lessons catering to different abilities.
2. Support PE teachers in setting up equipment and resources for lessons and sports activities.
3. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students needing additional assistance in developing physical skills.
4. Organise and supervise sports events, tournaments, and intra-school competitions.
5. Promote a positive environment encouraging participation in physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
6. Collaborate with teachers and parents to emphasize the importance of PE and sports in student development.

Requirements

• Passion for working with children and promoting physical activity and sports.
• Experience with primary school-aged children, preferably in sports coaching or education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students.
• Knowledge of various sports and ability to adapt activities for different ages and skill levels.
• Relevant qualifications in sports coaching, PE, or related fields are desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the school's ethos.
