Randstad is working with a highly respected primary school in Knowsley to find a dedicated Sports Coach/Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Position description / Job description
  • Collaborate with teachers to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
  • Provide individual and small group support to students.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Deliver engaging sports activities to children across both Key Stages during lunchtimes and after-school clubs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sports programs.
  • Maintain a safe and organised learning environment.
  • Assist with the preparation and cleanup of sports equipment and facilities.
  • Participate in school events and activities as needed.
Expectations / Requirements

We're looking for you, if:

  • You have experience working in a UK school setting.
  • You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You have a valid DBS check (or are willing to obtain one).
  • You can provide two references from the last five years, including one safeguarding reference.
  • You are enthusiastic and passionate about working with children.
  • You are a team player and have a positive attitude.
