Sports Coach - Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), Hounslow - Immediate Start - £450-£550 p/w

Are you a passionate and resilient Sports Coach looking to make a real difference in young people's lives?

Career Teachers is partnering with a specialist Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Hounslow, dedicated to supporting secondary-aged students who have experienced challenges in mainstream education. Through the power of sport, we aim to inspire, engage, and motivate students to develop confidence, resilience, and teamwork skills.

This is more than just coaching-it's about shaping futures, fostering positive attitudes, and unlocking the potential of students who thrive with the right guidance. If you have a strong background in sports coaching and a proven ability to engage young people with challenging behaviour, we'd love to hear from you!

Your Role:

• Plan and deliver a variety of engaging sports sessions tailored to the needs of students.
• Use sport as a tool to encourage positive behaviour, teamwork, and self-discipline.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with students who require additional guidance.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting activities where needed to ensure participation for all.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience coaching young people in a PRU or alternative provision setting.
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage students positively.
• Passion for sports and physical activity as a means of personal growth and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
