Job description

U-Educate are currently recruiting for a Sports Coach for schools in Fareham. We are seeking people with experience of working in a school setting and with children aged from 6-18.

Description

• Implementing the school sport programme effectively
• Promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles
• Teaching students about safety in such areas as swimming pools, athletics fields, gymnasiums
• Making sure all pupils you work with are included and involved

Skills and Experience You Will Need

• Interest and enthusiasm for many sports
• Good spoken communication skills
• The ability to inspire confidence and motivate performance
• The ability to analyse problems
• Perseverance and patience
• Good organisational skills
• A sensitive and supportive approach
• Excellent team working abilities

The role will involve preparing coaching sessions, managing class behaviour, motivating, and encouraging all pupils to take part, planning and marking for each lesson.
