A well-regarded secondary school in the BL4 area is looking to appoint a confident and proactive Sports Coach to take on the role of Cover Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in sports coaching who is looking to transition into a school-based setting.

The Role:

Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher

Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain focused and on task

Use your leadership and coaching experience to manage behaviour effectively

Provide classroom support and contribute to the wider school environment

Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience working with children or young people, ideally in a sports or coaching context

Be confident managing groups and maintaining classroom expectations

Have strong communication and organisational skills

Be flexible, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting students' learning

Experience working in schools or educational settings

An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
