OVERVIEW

The Sports Media Group collaborates with top sports broadcasters, insiders, writers, and media properties across the spectrum, building careers both in front of and behind the camera. The ideal candidate for the Sports Broadcasting Assistant role should demonstrate a genuine passion for sports media. You will work within a diverse team, constantly networking across the sports media landscape.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Providing day-to-day support for the team, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expenses
  2. Managing client diaries, organizing logistics, participating in briefing calls, and attending shows/events with clients when necessary
  3. Assisting in deck building and outreach to find commercial opportunities
  4. Serving as the first point of contact for day-to-day operations of existing brand partnerships
  5. Managing fulfillment of ongoing projects, liaising between clients and buyers, including logistics for on-location shoots, social media posts, and campaign tracking
  6. Assisting with client billing and accounting needs
  7. Acting as the primary contact with clients, agents, and executives
  8. Hosting and managing schedules for US clients when they are in the European market
  9. Managing a high-volume workload and prioritizing time-sensitive tasks
  10. Providing general assistance to the team with ongoing projects

Qualifications/Requirements

  1. Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects, and maintain focus amidst competing priorities
  2. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  3. Administrative experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred
  4. Understanding of the current sports industry and the nature of a talent agency
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  6. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  7. Ability to develop business relationships at all levels
  8. Self-starter with initiative and curiosity
  9. Experience with Instagram, Twitter, TikTok
