The ESMS Sports Centre is looking for two part-time Sports Attendants and Duty Supervisors to join their staff for a permanent position. Responsibilities include supervising resources and providing excellent customer service while acting as a welcoming point of contact for all visitors.
We are currently seeking to fill the position of Sports Attendant and Duty Supervisor.
The ESMS Sports Centre at Ravelston is recruiting for 2 part-time Sports Attendants and Duty Supervisors to join our staff on a permanent basis for two days per week. Three-quarters of the shifts will be as a Duty Supervisor and one-quarter as a Sports Attendant.
The centre is part of the Ravelston Sports Club, a members club serving the community of ESMS Schools. Membership is open to school pupils, staff, and their families. We also offer community membership for residents within the local area.
As a Duty Supervisor, you will supervise the financial, human, and physical resources on a shift-to-shift basis, achieving organisational objectives related to finance, customer service, employee support, internal processes, and learning growth. You will provide line supervision, support, guidance, and leadership to facility staff to deliver excellent customer service.
As a Sports Attendant, you will act as the first point of contact for customers, creating a welcoming environment and helping customers have the best experience on every visit.
Hours may vary weekly; however, the postholder is expected to work an average of 11.25 hours per week over two days, on a rotating two-week schedule. Remuneration will be on the ESMS Support Staff Salary Scale: C (£11.44 - £11.51 per hour) for Sports Attendant shifts and E (£12.95 per hour) for Duty Supervisor shifts, depending on experience and qualifications.
