We have an exciting role of Theatre and Events Coordinator within our Communities and Partnerships team!
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day operation, booking and utilisation of SGS sports facilities, ensuring an excellent experience for all users.
- Act as the main point of contact for sports clubs, governing bodies, community organisations, commercial customers and facility hirers.
- Plan and support the delivery of sporting events, tournaments, competitions and community programmes across SGS venues.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships that increase facility usage, community engagement and commercial opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with Sports Academies, curriculum teams and operational departments to maximise the use and impact of SGS facilities.
- Promote SGS WISE and wider sports facilities, helping to grow participation, attract new customers and support commercial income targets.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Sport, Leisure Management, Management, Events, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Experience coordinating bookings, events, sports activities or customer services within a busy environment.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and schedules effectively.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with experience working with customers, clubs, community organisations and partners.
- Knowledge of sports facility operations, venue management, health and safety, safeguarding and event delivery.
