Job summary

South Gloucestershire and Stroud College is seeking a Carpentry lecturer within its Adult Vocational team to deliver Level 2 site carpentry courses. Plan and teach high-quality sessions two evenings per week, monitor progress, and support learners toward further training or employment.

The role requires industry carpentry experience, a teaching or assessor qualification (or willingness to work toward one), and a passion for construction education within a supportive college environment.

FTE Salary: Up to £35,793.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)

Contract Type: 0 hour contract, fixed term until 31st August 2027

Working Hours: Part time, 2 evenings a week
