Job Description:

Circuito de Navarra is one of Spain’s leading motorsport venues, and has recently been redeveloped to the highest standards by its owner and operator MotorSport Vision (MSV), led by Chief Executive and former F1 driver Jonathan Palmer.

Following a restructure of the Sporting Department, we are now seeking a Sporting Coordinator to provide operational and administrative assistance to the team.

As Sporting Coordinator at Circuito de Navarra, you will play a key role in providing support primarily for race events, but also the venue’s other day-to-day activities, including test days and track days.

Your duties as Sporting Coordinator will involve:

  • Performing the role of Race Control Director for some events, including midweek activity
  • Ensuring that personnel at race events, including marshals, have the appropriate material and equipment to carry out their work
  • Conducting track safety inspections
  • Arranging support vehicles for race events, including safety and medical cars
  • Liaising with existing race event suppliers and evaluating new ones, in consultation with the Sporting Director
  • Working closely with department colleagues to ensure all race event costs are within agreed budgets
  • Producing detailed reports after each event
  • Attending federation courses and seminars, as required
  • Providing general operational and administrative support to the Sporting Director

To be successful in the role you must possess:

  • A full B1 driving licence
  • Prior experience working within a motorsport event organisation
  • The ability to work a significant number of weekends throughout the year
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • At least an intermediate level of English
  • The ability to work well within a team
  • Excellent organisational skills

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build or continue a career within the motorsport industry. Circuito de Navarra is a growing, dynamic and successful circuit that aspires to be one of the leading motorsport venues in Europe.
